31 Oct 2007. Load to do without travelling too far. Highlights were: Valle Cruises Abbey, horse-drawn boat ride, Plas Newydd (v.v interesting), walk around farm. Llandegla Forest is great for mountain bikinh but would only reommend the red route if you know what you're doing (or brave)...J & K Whittamore

Chester - Walk the Roman city walls....There is an excellent Park & Ride as you approach Chester...£1.30 per adult (under 16's free) 35 minutes by car...stress free way of visiting the 'city. 

The town walls in Denbigh - get key at the castle and enjoy 'secret' views of the town.
