Well-placed for walking the Clwydian range, Llantysilio Mountains and Horseshoe Pass - Offa's Dyke path runs through the nearby village of Llandegla (2 miles). 

 

'Plas yn ial' translates in English as 'Big House in the Vale of Yale' and is the ancestral home of Elihu Yale, founder of Yale University. 

The accommodation is on a working farm and to this end we regret that we cannot accept dogs.

The woodland at Plas yn Iâl is known locally for its spectacular carpet of bluebells during the months of May and June.

190 acres of land surrounding the house is farmed in an environmentally sensitive manner.
