You are welcome to explore the 200acre farm, picnic in the parkland, woodlands and hayfields or walk to the highest point for a panoramic view of the Vale of Clwyd (click here to see the circular farm walk).

Peace and quiet at the end of a private drive, yet close to the local village of Llandegla with shop and two pubs. The new exciting Mountain Bike Centre in Llandegla Forest opened in July 2005 - see the 'Local Area' above for a link to their website or click here

Door to the garden; click to enlargeConvenient for exploring nearby Llangollen (15 minutes by car), Ruthin (15 mins), Snowdonia, Bala (30 mins), Betws y Coed (40 mins) & Historic Chester only 30 mins away. 

Well-placed for walking the Clwydian range, Llantysilio Mountains and Horseshoe Pass - Offa's Dyke path runs through the nearby village of Llandegla (2 miles). 

'Plas yn ial' translates in English as 'Big House in the Vale of Yale' and is the ancestral home of Elihu Yale, founder of Yale University. 

The accommodation is on a working farm and to this end we regret that we cannot accept dogs.

The 35 acre woodland at Plas yn Iâl is known locally for its spectacular carpet of bluebells during the months of May and June.

A further 155 acres of land and working family farm surrounding the house is farmed in an environmentally sensitive manner.
